Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
If your organization finds itself trying to think about how to make sustainable change in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) or developing a plan to address organizational challenges, if your organization is confused about where to start the process, we can help with that. While serving as the Chief Diversity Officer at George Fox University Dr. Joel Pérez used a dimensions of diversity framework that can be applied to any organization. This framework led to the successful implementation and the sustainability of a five-year plan. Now we are assisting organizations in utilizing the framework to develop plans to create more inclusive organizations. We can help you utilize this framework in the development of your DEI plan.
Your organization may find itself wondering how to develop the leadership needed to improve its diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. We can help facilitate a conversation with your leadership team using the
Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) a confidential assessment of the level of awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences and similarities. The purpose is to assist your organization’s leadership to become more culturally competent and move toward cultural humility.
In addition, we are qualified administrators in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). The IDI is the premier, cross-cultural assessment of intercultural competence that is used by thousands of individuals and organizations to build intercultural competence to achieve international and domestic diversity and inclusion goals and outcomes. We can administer the IDI to groups or individuals within your organization and help you develop a strategy to move individuals and your organization along the continuum.

Coaching can be a powerful tool that can help change organizational culture and improve the performance of your team members. The International Coach Federation conducted a study on the impact coaching can have on an organization. They found that 80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. 86% of companies report that they recouped their investment on coaching and more (source: ICF 2009). If you are an institution of higher learning ,coaching can be a tool to improve your student success rates. We can provide training for your student success coaches to give them the tools to better assist your students. We can partner with your organization in providing the training for your team and organization that will provide them with a strong foundation of coaching.
According to the Brookings Institution the Latinx population by the year 2045 will make up a quarter of the total U.S. population. What impact will that have on organizations? For organizations that are serving a greater number of Latinx stakeholders it is important to think about this impact and develop of strategy to meet the needs of this demographic. If you are an institution of higher learning what are you doing to build your enrollment strategy to recruit, retain, and graduate a larger percentage? We can help you develop that plan. We can also help you how to best support your undocumented student population by providing training for your teams that consists of the history of immigration, current policies, and the challenges undocumented students face.
